Martin Goodsmith - Keys, Guitar
The idea of GLASSHOUSE came to Martin in a dream in which he saw exotic dance music fusing with jazz melody and a falcon diving into a volcano. His background in film-making and his re-dedication to jazz guitar has helped create an important creative impulse in the band's style.
Daniel Cano - Trumpet, Flugalhorn
Daniel is a graduate of Superior Conservatoire of Music in San Sebastián and has performed and recorded with well known jazz artists such as: Pedro Cortejosa, Paco Charlín, Bob Sands, Doug Sides, Wilfried Wilde and many others. He has also recently recorded his own album, entitled "Don't Touch The Blue", released by Blue Asteroid records.
Peter Cook - Saxes
Originally from Oxford, Peter has built a solid reputation in performing and teaching saxophone in SE Kent. "As a musician I love reading other people's ideas, but it is also important to stretch people to think and express themselves too."
Kevin Richards - Percussion, Vocals
Kevin has played percussion with many original acts including Kofi Dako's Sa Mon Di and Flakey Jake. His dedication to exploring African rhythms has taken him to Ghana where he studied djembe and he possesses a rich vocal tone that the band like to fully exploit.
Mateusz Gocek - Bass
Mateusz studied Aeronautical Engineering at Imperial College in London and so bass playing was an obvious course to take. He's involved in two other bands that indulge his other more questionable tastes in music...
Matt Goodsmith - Drums
Matt recently graduated from Winchester School of Art. He's balanced his activities as an artist with his passion for jazz and functions very well as the GLASSHOUSE horns arranger and band Curator, trawling through miles of music - from the obscure to the novel.
"GLASSHOUSE enjoy a fresh approach to retro grooves and tailored originals. Great mood and dexterity from horn-players Peter Cook and Daniel Cano provide a powerful lead to their offering..."
